Along with Turry Flucker from the MS Arts Commission, I helped co-host a meeting of artists from across the southern part of Mississippi where we brainstormed ways the MAC can more effectively help artists as well as discussed best practices for emerging and mid career artists. It was a lively discussion and I was pleased to gather everyone together for panels, discussion, and feedback to MAC.

Not only was Nikki able to see major art museums like MOMA & Met for the first time, but she also was able to tour graduate programs as well as attend a paint making workshop at Kremer Pigments.

2018 June: Rome, Florence, & Cortona, Italy. Membership to Uffizi Museum as well as visited 20+ major museums and churches during 30 days in Florence, Rome, Orvieto, Arezzo, and Cortona. This had impact on my drawing production and drawing sales.
2017 June: Madrid, Spain. Visited the Prado 14 days where I studied and made drawings from master works. This had a tremendous impact on my studio production.

2017 Co-Host, MAC Artist Symposium, Pass Christian, MS. Along with Turry Flucker from the MS Arts Commission, I helped co-host a meeting of artists from across the southern part of Mississippi where we brainstormed ways the MAC can more effectively help artists as well as discussed best practices for emerging and mid career artists. It was a lively discussion and I was pleased to gather everyone together for panels, discussion, and feedback to MAC.

Travelled with Graduating Art Major Nikki Ainsworth to New York City where she attended an opening for contemporary painter Bill Scott at Hollis Taggart Gallery in the prestigious Chelsea Gallery District. Not only was Nikki able to see major art museums like MOMA & Met for the first time, but she also was able to tour graduate programs as well as attend a paint making workshop at Kremer Pigments.

2018 June: Rome, Florence, & Cortona, Italy. Membership to Uffizi Museum as well as visited 20+ major museums and churches during 30 days in Florence, Rome, Orvieto, Arezzo, and Cortona. This had impact on my drawing production and drawing sales.
2017 June: Madrid, Spain. Visited the Prado 14 days where I studied and made drawings from master works. This had a tremendous impact on my studio production.
